Larimer Humane Society’s Development Manager engages in the planning, budgeting and evaluation of all annual fund raising activities to build support and awareness of the Organization’s mission, programs and achievements. The position includes both program and personnel management responsibilities with direct reports including the Events and Development Coordinator and the Development Associate. Areas of responsibilities include annual giving program management, prospective donor management, and estate planning management. This position also manages a portfolio of corporate, foundation and individual donors and takes a leadership role in donor retention. Assists the Director of Development and Community Relations and the Executive Director in board support, training and development. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent experience; a minimum of three years demonstrated large event management and coordination; a minimum of one year personnel supervisory experience; a minimum of one year database analysis and management experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. Fluency in Raiser’s Edge and Chameleon software is a plus as is capital campaign experience. The position reports to the Director of Development and Community Relations.
Salary range begins in the low 40’s and may be negotiable commensurate with experience. Closes when filled.
