pdfAdministrative Assistant
Full time, Non-Exempt, Hourly position

Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant. The position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for providing assistance to the Executive Director and to the Director of Human Resources. Provides additional assistance to other members of senior staff and the Board of Directors as required. Duties include compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual statistical reports as necessary; supporting the board of directors and board committee activities by attending meetings, preparing meeting rooms and agendas, recording meeting minutes and providing administrative support; and assisting the Executive Director in conducting daily business through administration of appropriate processes and systems. Assists the human resources department through clerical assistance for the hiring process, records, employee events, meeting coordination, birthday and service award programs, monthly newsletter creation and more. Clerical duties include: photocopying, correspondence and presentation formatting and preparation, mailing, materials distribution, filing, ordering office supplies and maintaining inventories, creating spreadsheets and more.  

Minimum of Associates Degree or equivalent work experience required. At least three years of related work experience in a fast paced environment.  Bookkeeping experience a plus as is providing assistance to human resources. Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).  Excellent verbal and written communications skills and personable and professional presence and telephone skills. Short hand a plus.

Full Time (40 hrs), Exempt, Salary

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Development and Community Relations for Larimer Humane Society is responsible for strategic direction and overall management of the Development and Community Relations group. This includes providing director level guidance for development, special events, community outreach, marketing and public relations, and volunteer programs and humane education. Directs activities of the group and provides leadership to promote Larimer Humane Society in the community and to ensure a broad base of funding resources. Directs and personally manages existing or future capital, endowment or other strategic major donor campaigns in collaboration with Executive Director, Board of Directors and staff.  Ensures the division’s work is carried out in keeping with Larimer Humane Society’s mission, vision and strategic goals. Responsible for division level budget management. Limited relocation assistance may be available. 

Salary may be negotiable commensurate with experience. Closes when filled.

pdfClient Services Representative (Full-time and Part-Time)
Non-Exempt, Hourly position

Client Services personnel represent Larimer Humane Society in a professional and courteous manner and provide quality client service at the Shelter’s front desk. The job requires great customer service skills, both in person and over the phone. Must be able to quickly learn and accurately use specialized software as well as learn and apply a wide range of policies and procedure. Work includes processing animal adoptions, animal returns to owners and animal surrenders as well as physical animal handling and other duties. Client Services positions, both full-time or part-time, generally include at least one weekend shift. Please include days and times of availability in cover letter.

$10.00 per hour. Closes when filled.

 

Larimer Humane Society conducts criminal background checks, DMV checks and requires drug testing of employment candidates. Employees must be a minimum of 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
