Director of Operations
Regular Full Time, Exempt, Salary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Operations is responsible for strategic direction and overall management of the Operations division. This includes the Animal Care and Placement, Veterinary Services, Information Technology and Facility Maintenance departments. Responsibilities include budgeting and annual planning for division departments based on the Organization’s strategic goals. Ensures that all animals in our care receive the highest quality care possible and directs the long term growth of the division. Ensures compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local animal care and sheltering requirements (PACFA, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, OSHA). Accountable for the division’s work being carried out in keeping with Larimer Humane Society’s mission, vision and strategic goals. Limited relocation assistance may be available.

Director of Development and Community Relations
Regular Full Time, Exempt, Salary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Development and Community Relations is responsible for strategic direction and overall management of the Development and Community Relations division. This includes providing director level guidance for development, special events, community outreach, marketing & PR, humane education and volunteer programs. Directs activities of the division and provides leadership to promote Larimer Humane Society in the community and to ensure a broad base of funding resources. Ensures the division’s work is carried out in keeping with Larimer Humane Society’s mission, vision and strategic goals. Responsible for division level budget management. Limited relocation assistance may be available.

Animal Protection and Control Officer (2 Positions)
Regular Full-Time (40 hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly
Animal Protection and Control (APC) Officer positions at Larimer Humane Society are full-time, 40 hour per week, jobs responsible for enforcing State, County and City codes and ordinances governing animal control functions (e.g. field enforcement, licensing, animals at large, animal bite investigations, etc.) including animal handling and constraint. The positions also perform the duties of an Animal Control Dispatcher. Officers represent the organization in a professional and courteous manner at all times. This position requires learning a wide range of policies, procedures and processes quickly and includes a significant amount of field work and animal handling. Minimum of one year animal care, welfare and/or handling. clerical skills and math skills; able to read and interpret ordinances, ability to prioritize duties and multi-task within a busy work environment. Ability to relate information to the public and officers in a concise, clear manner. Ability to work in direct contact with aggressive, injured animals. Previous enforcement and/or dispatch experience desired. Computer skills required and knowledge of Chameleon software helpful. The work schedule is generally 8 to 10 hour shifts, includes one weekend day per week and is subject to change. On-call overnight shifts are required as are holiday shifts. Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings. Living arrangements within 30 miles of the Shelter due to on-call duties. Development Coordinator
Regular Full Time, Exempt, Salary
The Development Coordinator is responsible for all fundraising event project planning and implementation, direct mail program management and developing effective business partnerships. Additionally, the incumbent plans and coordinates donor cultivation and appreciation events. Manages direct mail program, making recommendations regarding revenue projections and tracking appeal revenue and expenses, and serves as liaison with direct mail vendors. Communicates with business partners, creates promotional proposals and oversees promotional fulfillment. This position reports to the Development Manager.
Salary range begins in the high 20’s and may be negotiable commensurate with experience. Closes when filled.
Client Service Supervisor
Regular Full-Time (40 hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly
Larimer Humane Society Client Services Supervisors are responsible for the operations of the Service Desk, during a particular shift, ensuring clients receive consistent high quality service. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, working supervisor position. Incumbents participate in the Shelter Team and Supervisor/Manager meetings and are engaged in reviewing work flow and suggesting and implementing improvements. Requirements include two years of customer service experience and one year of staff supervisory/lead experience. The schedule for this position will include at least one weekend day. Hiring range starts at $11.50 per hour and may be negotiable commensurate with experience. Closes when filled.
Client Services Representative (Full-time and Part-Time)
Regular Full-Time (40 hrs) or Part-Time (20 to 24 hrs), Non-Exempt, Hourly
Client Services personnel represent Larimer Humane Society in a professional and courteous manner and provide quality client service at the Shelter’s front desk. Requires learning a wide range of policies and procedures and the ability to quickly learn specialized software and enter complete and accurate data into the computer system. The work includes processing animal adoptions, animal returns to owners and animal surrenders, and involves physical animal handling. Client Services positions, both full-time or part-time, generally include at least one weekend shift. Please indicate days and times of availability in cover letter.
$10 per hour. Closes when filled.
Foster and Transfer Coordinator
Regular Full-Time, Exempt, Salary
The Foster and Transfer Coordinator position reports to the Organization’s Supervising Veterinarian and is responsible for coordinating Larimer Humane Society’s animal foster care and animal transfer programs. Our Foster and Transfer Coordinator position recruits and trains foster care volunteers and performs required home visits. The position also coordinates the transfer of animals to breed placement groups and other transfer organizations and coordinates transfers of animals from other shelters and facilities to Larimer Humane Society. This position works closely with veterinary clinic and behavior evaluation and enrichment staff members. Previous veterinary assistant and/or companion animal care experience required. Ability to work a varied schedule required.
Salary range begins in mid-$20’s and may be negotiable commensurate with experience. Closes when filled.
