Animal Care Technician (4 positions)
3 Full Time (40 hours), Non-Exempt, Hourly position
1 Part Time (20 hours), Non-Exempt, Hourly position
Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for our Animal Care Technician team. Our Animal Care Technicians are responsible for the daily care of Shelter animals and facilities cleaning. These positions involve a significant amount of physical labor. Animals in our care include dogs, cats, small mammals, exotic animals, barnyard animals and more. Work shifts vary and generally include at least one weekend day as the positions provide animal care coverage from 7:00am – 7:30pm Monday – Friday, and 7:00am – 5:30pm Saturday and Sunday. Client Services Representative (3 positions)
Full Time (40 hours), Non-Exempt, Hourly position
Client Services personnel represent Larimer Humane Society in a professional and courteous manner and provide quality client service at the Shelter’s front desk. The job requires great customer service skills, both in person and over the phone. Must be able to quickly learn and accurately use specialized software as well as learn and apply a wide range of policies and procedures. Work includes processing animal adoptions, animal returns to owners and animal surrenders as well as physical animal handling and other duties. Client Services positions generally include at least one weekend shift. Please include days and times of availability in cover letter.

Marketing and Community Outreach Program Manager
Full Time (40 hours), Exempt, Salary
Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Marketing and Community Outreach Program Manager. This is a full time, salaried, exempt position reporting to the Director of Development and Community Relations. The position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Larimer Humane Society’s marketing, public relations, social media and advertising efforts. The Marketing and Community Outreach Manager also engages in the research, planning, implementation and evaluation of all community outreach activities necessary to build awareness of Larimer Humane Society’s mission, vision, programs, services and achievements in the community. Requirements include a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in marketing and community relations. Minimum of two years professional experience with public relations, promotions and community programs; minimum two years of proven audience-focused persuasive and informational writing experience. One year media relations experience. Website and social media program management required. Basic budgeting and planning experience. Media spokesperson experience preferred. Experience producing visual media a plus as is experience with donor and emergency communications. Non-profit development experience desired. Animal or environmental welfare experience helpful. Proven and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills and the ability to positively and successfully interact with diverse populations including all age groups. Experience with Northern Colorado media and business community preferred. Animal or environmental welfare experience helpful. Applicants must be willing and able to work a varied scheduled including weekends and evenings as required. Please indicate date of availability and salary expectations in cover letter. Hiring range for the position starts in the mid-thirties and may be negotiable commensurate with experience.
