Provides shelter and care for nearly 12,000 lost, surrendered, ill, injured and orphaned wild and domestic animals each year.

Adopts animals into new homes including dogs, cats, and other animals including small mammals, amphibians, birds and even farm animals!

Reunites owners with their lost pets.

Enables owners who are no longer able to care for their pets to surrender them to us.

Fosters underage, ill, injured, or under-socialized so they may become healthy, adoptable animals.

Investigates animal cruelty.

Licenses dogs, cats and chickens residing in Loveland, Fort Collins and incorporated areas of Larimer County.

Educates children and adults about the responsible care and treatment of animals through community presentations, school/scout visits, shelter tours, our Waggin’ Tails Kids Camp, Tail Tale Story Time and more.

Helps owners of terminally ill and senior animals with end of life assistance. To set up an appointment for euthanasia services or to determine the euthanasia costs, please call 970-226-3647 ext. 501.

Offers donor-subsidized spay/neuter assistance through our Spay/Neuter Incentive Program (S.N.I.P.) with the assistance of participating veterinarians. Ask us!

Provides animal behavior assistance through online help sheets.

Hosts a list of animal care resources including a list of local behavior training classes, pet-friendly housing, and more.

Supports animal friendly legislation.

Rents humane traps to the general public for a nominal fee.

Holds several large fundraising events each year to raise money for the homeless animals in Larimer County including our Top Cat & Tails Gala; Fire Hydrant 5, 5K Walk/Run & Pet Expo and the Spay-Ghetti & No Balls Dinner.

Provides numerous volunteer opportunities as a way for members of the public to give back to their community and gain valuable skills in animal care, event planning and more!
